Need help with hooking up an Accurate Arc System plasma cutter

Post by Belix9999 »

Hello all,
I am new to this site am I joined because I got myself a AAS plasma table. I have always wanted a plasma table just for personal use but never could afford one.
The plasma table looks almost new but it was on a local auction so it didn't come with any software or much of anything else. It has a box on the side of it with a couple connectors and a power cord. I have a spare computer and a plasma cutter but have no idea how to hook it up or what software I need with it.
I was hoping someone can tell me what I need to get it up and running.

I would open the box up and check it looks like it was to be hooked to a PC via the parallel printer port. If you find drivers and power supplies inside you may just need to buy a different BOB board to communicate with your computer. That will dictate what software you use I see the motors so you may have fallen into a great deal. Many here that can help you get it working.

Did you research the previous owner from the auctioneer? Maybe he could help on the software side of things.. Same with the Mfr once you have the original owners name.

That control box looks like it may be a C&CNC control setup. I would open it up to confirm. If that is the case I wouldn't change anything and obtain the software from C&CNC and start from there. Get the machine moving and then move on to wiring the plasma into it. Open it up and send some pics :Like
