Torchmate Hypertherm Powermax 45 AVHC-no cnc interface cable

Post by larrycameron44 »

Got my system and after a few hiccups its up and running. Well sort of.
Had a wee problem with the cnc interface cable.... it wasn't supplied. You need this, so I had to make up one.
No binding issues at present, jogs in high speed etc.
Ran the test line speed file. Voltage file etc. I can only think that with some more fine tuning on my behalf it should be groovy and I shall not have to hand cut templates any more . Yay
Youtube of the system doing a dry run as I have yet to fill the water table

Please let me know if you have any ideas where to put the bloody wires for the motors
Cheers

Welcome to the Torchmate club!!! I too have a 2x4 and Pmax 45. Though I have mine on saw horses at the moment while I build a custom water table big enough to house TM's new 4ft gantry upgrade. I love mine and can't wait for my table. Good luck!!!
