scanned images -Torchmate

Hi all. I am new to the CNC community. I have a torchmate 2 4x4 cnc plasma. My question is i can make a template but when i scan it the lines are very dirty and they are not in black and white. They are shades of grey etc. My question is this. Is there a tutorial on how to make your circles perfect and lines perfect etc...? Thanks in advance!

after you scan you can fix in inkscape (free software) it is really easy to save dxf files in.

Great torchmate tutorial on scanning and node editing here, uses their own software but you can apply the same logic to corel etc
