401A signal generator not powering on
I have the old 401A signal generator and it will not power on. I have used it 3 years and no issues, Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot it? Thanks

Sorry, It`s not the 401A Signal generator, I can`t remember the name of this box I have a pic of the box but can not figure out how to post it. its the box with the fan and on off switch on the front and where the x y and z wires plug in the back and it has the 3 circuit boards in it that I replaced about 3 years ago, thanksrobertspark wrote: ↑Wed May 26, 2021 4:25 pmhttp://m.cncmanual.com/flashcut-cnc-sig ... are-guide/

Re: 401A signal generator not powering on
It sounds like the controller box, which would have a control board, 3 motor driver boards, a DC power supply, and probably some kind of breakout board. Trouble shooting would just take following the power. Get a voltmeter out, and start checking leads. I'd start at the AC in, making sure 120AC is making it to the power supply. If it does, then I'd make sure the DC (probably somewhere between 24 and 48 volts DC) is leaving the power supply going to the Driver boards. Everything should be somewhat labeled as to what the leads are.
Without some pictures, circuit diagrams and a little more system information, that's about the best I can suggest.
