Hey guys,
I have a Torchmate 2 with the extruded aluminum frame. It had been operating fine without issue. However, I recently moved it into another bay at my shop months ago and it has operated just as normal. More recently I have been powering up my table and jogging into position to start to cut and I get an incredible amount of stutter in the motion of X and Y.
(side note) I have a rotary axis and it functions smooth and has no issues.
I am using the large red box controller with HVHC (blue screen). I have disconnected all cables and cleaned out the terminals. Since it is both axis I'm ruling out a motor and or cabling. But maybe I'm missing something. All cables are shielded.
See videos I uploaded on Youtube.

Thanks for any help you may provide.

That is very odd, any aluminum tig welding going on nearby when this happens?

Actually I shut everything off everything in the shop with the breakers, except LED lights that sit 2' above the table. Maybe I should try the lights off too.

Just fired it up and I didn't experience any of the stuttering with the lights over the table on (lights on same circuit as the controller).

Is the PC that operates it connected to th3e internet?
How does the PC communicate with the controller, USB, LPT (printer port)?

The computer is hooked up to the internet via Wifi.
However the controller is connected to the laptop via a USB cable.
It seems to do it more when in the Jog mode. However I have seen a couple smaller hiccups in the G-code mode as well.

If you jog at much slower speeds does it still hiccup?
If you disconnect from the internet does the hiccup go away?
