How to fill in drawing to show end results

Post by james.davis »

How do you fill in a line drawing to show what the end result will look like with a PLASMACAM DHC2?
Thanks

Thee are many ways to do it, I sometimes run the verify program in my CAD/CAM but if you want a quick and dirty way just to see what it will look like just bring the file up on your screen with the whole part showing then hit the "Prt Scr" key. Next open "Paint" and click on the little clipboard that says "paist" under it. Then you can fill the solid parts of your file and leave the parts that you want a different color. If the whole page changes to to your paste color it means there is a leak somewhere, just click on the undo arrow in the top left corner and look for a line with a space in it and use the pencil to fill it in one pixel at a time. Here is your file, it took about one minute to do this one.

Those files have MANY issues. They are not ready to be cut on a PlasmaCam table.
