Wiring on 98z. Z motor

Post by metalartbyus »

I have a 98z. On the z motor a couple wires came off when it did it shorted out my control board. I'm needing to make sure I hook the wires back up correctly before I put new controls on. On the motor wiring there is 3 spots on top row and 3 spots on bottom row. I have red, black and 2 blue. My guess is that I use the outside two on the top and bottom. I measured the resistance and those are the ones that gave me the correct resistance. Am I correct? Thanks in advance.

On most stuff relating to the old the 98-z, I would definitively give call George in tech at plasmacam. The 98-z was plasmacam first model, but still offers service and part for their original model, even though it hasn't been sold for 16 years. I'd give them a call immediately and they will get you going again.

Good Luck Brother,

JAG
