Array text in 3.11?

Post by Binderman01 »

Is there anyway to array text in 3.11? I can do it in Autocad, but i much prefer using plasmacam to actually draw.

Describe what you mean by array text? If you have one letter you can array it in polar or rectangular patterns very easily.

Sorry. Array isn't the word i should have used after re-reading it. Curve text, would be what I'm looking for

I think you can only in DE, fit to path :?: :?:
If you don't have Design Edge, then use the free program "DeskEngrave":

The advanced Design Edge can easily curve text to a path. You cannot do it in the original 3.11 Plasmacam software.

Definitely much simpler in designedge.

You can fit text to any path with a click of a mouse. Sure beats having to do this sort of thing manually by moving and rotating each letter and getting them exact.

Man, it save a lot of time. A coupe of seconds and your done!
