Max 40CS

Post by Steve92307 »

I picked this Hypertherm Max 40cs today for 50 bucks from a company that does heavy duty fab work. Guy said he wasn't sure if it worked. Got It home and wired it up and it turns on, all lights are green but when I hit the button nothing happens. There is a red light on the circuit board inside the back of the machine that goes on and off when I press the button. The shop I bought it from runs 480v 3 phase. This machine can run 208/240/480 single phase. I was looking at it and from what i can tell they have the machine wired to run on 480v. Can someone confirm this for me and tell me which wires I need to move?

Good deal. Maybe post back what you find out to help future searchers.
