Hey guys, how do you disassemble the machine torch to get to the upper brass parts?
I have started twisting the cover off but the brass parts and torch cable want to twist with it.
I suspect the brass consumable mount is damaged from a tip up as it's kinda cocked and I've had some torch height/voltage issues lately.
Does anyone have part numbers for the parts past the swirl ring? I suspect I'll have to order them direct from hypertherm.
The torch is a Duramax A IEC60974-7.
Thank you!

Re: Machine torch disassembly
I think there are 3 screws around the outside of the brass part that you have to remove to get it apart. I've had mine apart, but it's been a while.

I don't know what machine you have.... If I did I'd post the right manual as there are slight variations in design ....

Re: Machine torch disassembly
Thank you everybody for the help!
I'm sure this will help someone else in the future.
I believe the PN for the brass main body is: 228793.
Mine is a powermax 85. I will verify that PN before I order it.

Re: Machine torch disassembly
The 45XP, 65, 85 & 105 Duramax machine torch uses the same parts
The Number on the main body itself is 21520 (I just got a new 50' machine torch for the 6x12 build) You have to buy a kit to get it.
Here's the link to the parts breakdown:
http://www.tecno-plasma.it/it/consumabi ... mabili.pdf
Pg 5 of the document shows the main body (5) to be in a kit part # of 228716 They are $110.00 at Bakersgas
