Trying to cut 3/16....

I have all my settings to the recommended in the book. Air not dropping below 100. Fresh consumables. Nothing I try is getting a consistent cut. Am I missing something?

Amperage looks not to be turned all the way up....

Is that water coming out of the plasma cutter (water stain?)

Check your air filter and blow the airlines through (using a blow gun nozzle.... Not through the plasma cutter

It's water coming up through the cut not from the cutter.
I wouldn't think it's voltage drop. It's connected to a 100amp sub panel which is connected to a 200amp panel for the shop.
Now that you say that though that's really what it looks like. Is there any easy way to check if it is voltage drop?

What cutter is it?

What consumables do you have in it?

What amperage is it set at?

Is it single / 3 phase.... What is it wired off...... (You can (sometimes) run a three phase cutter off single phase)

Well the reason I posted here was because I knew I was overlooking something. Turns out i had one of the 45a finecut tips inside a regular shield. Damn thing must have been put in the wrong container when i swapped it out for this project.
