New to welding
Picked up a hypertherm powermax 30. Doesn't work, I believe it has to do with pin j28? To247 resistor. I heard Jim colt is the man to speak to.

I'd call tech support as AC suggested or provide a little more info. "Doesn't work" is a tad vague

"Doesn't work" will not help me with helping your troubleshoot. So, the unit requires that you connect to either 120 or 240 volt single phase power. You also need compressed air at between 90 and 120 psi (no lower, no higher) connected to the air inlet at the rear panel. You need the correct consumables made by Hypertherm inserted correctly in the torch (refer to the operators manual for parts numbers). So, with power air and consumables correct....are the front panel LEDs illuminated? What happens when you pull the torch trigger?
