Swirl Ring Blowout XPR300 @Jim Colt?

Post by Kevinthebat1 » Tue May 14, 2019 10:11 am

This has happened twice.
Once about 2 months ago with 170 amp consumables and then again today the operator brought this in to me.
This was with 80 amp consumables.
Is there possibly a problem with the torch? The swirl ring doesn't really have much use.

I have no experience with the larger XPR units but that looks like moisture in your air supply.

Best bet is to contact tech service at Hypertherm. [email protected] or 1 800 643 9878 . They tech service team spends their days working with issues like this in the field, chances are that they have run into this same issue with other XPR systems in the field. Jim Colt

Our air is pristine actually.
I have contacted Hypertherm and I am awaiting their response.
Thank you.
