Help needed hypertherm 1250 wiring

I have a 1250 with a hand torch right now hooked up to my plasmacam i just bought a machine torch not sure how to wire it to fire with the plasmacam.Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to leave the large black and red wires attached where they are currently to provide the correct divided arc voltage.

The trigger circuit is different for the machine torch. You can unhook the small black and white wires from the purple trigger wire that was cut and put the purple wire back together. The small black and white wires need to be connected to the CPC plug at the back of the machine (or the wires going to the plug) on pins 3 and 4. It doesn't matter which goes on which as this is a dry contact for the trigger.

OK thanks for the info that sounds simple do i need to do anything when i use the hand torch other than connect the purple wire back to together.Thanks again for your help.

No, Just unplug the machine torch and plug in the hand torch. The hand torch will fire only from its trigger switch. Jim Colt Hypertherm
