Try this i use rod on the bottom to join them together.

I did a few like these several years back ( more like a few decades ago- man gettin' old) and welded a stake on the back and they make great yard art.
Most home owners in my locale have to put this stuff in the back yard now, or else the homeless will hall them off in the shopping carts that they "borrowed" from their favorite supermarket. along with anything else they can pilfer to sell to the scrap dealers in order to get a little pocket jingle for pennies on the dollar!
