Very nice work! The dxf you posted is a little bit different than the image you show above, but this is an easy edit to fix.

How do you reduce node counts? I have a lot of files that have too many and it slows down my generation of g-code

I use the Smooth tool in Design Edge to reduce node count. CorelDraw might have a similar tool, and you could do it with Inkscape manually, which would take a long time to do.
