Thanks for sharing your holder design. What diameter grinding discs is this one intended to hold. As drawn, it shows about 15 1/2" between centers on the tabs. I would guess 7" grinding discs for a large angle grinder.

The center to center distance should be sufficient to allow a little bit of clearance to take the discs on and off.
