Maybe show us some pictures of some you have seen (google search) so we can get a better idea of what you want. Are you looking for the complete design, or only for the "ends with clean out" and "smoke control"?

This is the firebox vent. Which controls combustion air in the firebox. The air inlet works best at the fire grate height or just below it. That way air draws up through the fire and supplies proper oxygen in order to support combustion. The one depicted shows it above the grate and is not located at the optimal position above the fire grate/ A lot of pitmasters prefer the slide air inlets. They also can be located on teh side of the firebox.

Sites like https://www.smokerbuilder.com/ have a free smoker calculator (below) another is Feldons smoker calculator. http://www.feldoncentral.com/bbqcalculator.html It shows you how to calculate the entire pit so that it purrs like a kitten and will produce the "thin blue smoke" that everybody raves about..
