There are many versions of the logo, I suggest you do a Google search and select the one you want, post the picture here and we can help with it.

The customer isn’t too fussy, he’ll take any version of the logo. Heather one posted above would be fine.

Auto trace on this one is a "No-Go". If you are willing to pay someone for several hours of work, perhaps someone will step up and volunteer to do the job for you. Otherwise you could make an attempt with Inkscape and see how you make out. If you get started doing it yourself and have questions, just show us how far you have gotten and there are plenty here with Inkscape experience ready and willing to give you some pointers.
