homerun ball display
Has anyone done a display for homerun balls ? I want to make one out of metal but i cannot find solid dimensions to get started.. Thanks in advance

here ya go ..pretty simple..the rectangle can be used for name, date , etc...lengthening the holder pieces and increasing rectangle length will allow for more or larger letters

thank you ! Looks like i better start making them though, my daughter is already up to 8 HR's so far... LOL

Very interesting!
When my dad was young just after WWII my grandfather came home from service and took my dad to sooo many games and got signed balls in every fashion. Even unheard of stuff consisting of opposing teams, pitchers, from major to minor and more household names than I can even recall. Thank God he kept em away from me coming up as I can literally see me at the time peeling the skin from his most valuable one simply because I could find no other to play with. Knowing what I know now I'd like to make him a set, possibly laser due to size....I can't seem to remember how many he has though, literally a few dozen or more.

I went home to find out my daughter has hit 8 HR's so far this year so I had to come up with something bigger... This is what i have come up with so far..

great idea..ya prolly better make it hold more baseballs....lol
