Been building bbq grills and smokers for a while now. I like to make my own parts anytime I can. So I drew up some vents that we use.

Re: BBQ Grill Parts
I made some barn door style hinges for a bbq grill that use 1/2" rod. Set up for 1/4" thick door with 1/8" gasket compressed to 1/16"
The pic is off it during mock up. Unfortunately, the tape measure lied for the bottom hinge...So they didn't all space apart properly
And for some reason, at least in my preview screen, the picture keeps rotating....

Thanks for the files. I like the hing idea. I've almost always used regular door hinges. Both of these are great filler items we can just cut and hang knowing eventually we'll use them without taking up a lot of room.

Like the hinges as well. I am working on some other parts for my grills. When I get them complete I will post

Re: BBQ Grill Parts
The hinges ended up being cheap too...I think the 1/2" rod came in a 20' length for $8 or so....and then just some misc 1/4" material that is small enough to work in with other items
