I found the original image of this on the net and was impressed. So, I sat down this afternoon and after a few hours of work... Have a peek and see if you like it.

What I did was this: I took the Moon image and laid it out as a separate piece from the Sun. In this way, you can cut each out individually (also cut the Sun face out by itself) and then interlock the pieces once you have your finish done and glue them together. A layered effect.

...or

...You could also just drag / move the Sun over on top of the Moon and delete the overlap lines to create one image.

Suit yourself...

I made the sun so it will cut as one piece or so I think. I could have made the gap around the face a little smaller but the original is there for others to tinker with. Update. Deleted unworking file.

sun and moon faces 3.dxf
I have Torchmate, and you simply export the toolpath only as a dxf , online works best.

Thats weird. I exported them as dxf. No toolpath just line drawing. I forgot the cad security dongle in my work computer tonight so i cant mess with them. Can only do a few moves and then it shuts me down but I couldn't open the one of them i tried either. Jeez, I am new to the uploading dxf thing but have been drawing parts for 11 years. I am sure its something simple. Thanks for letting me know and I will get that fixed.

The idea I have is I just got a new laptop and like and idot associated my cad program installer tool with all dxfs so im thinking it may have had something to do with that. Im going to try uploading again to see if it works this time.

Still no luck for me. No cad key is keeping me from trying to export them again so I'll have to try again in the next couple days. Quick question, do I need a toolpath on my exports to get them to show up when they are downloaded to someone else?
