My cousins wife asked me to make them a family name sign with lineman influence. This is what I come up with. Hope someone can use it.

The file is only 223 bites, not a complete file by a long shot. chriscrump01 needs to save and upload it again so that the whole file is there.

Sorry for the delayed response guys. I have reuploaded and tested the file. It works on my end. Please let me know if there are any other issues and I will direct email to you if needed. The new file is scaled to be 34 by 25. If you go smaller may want to adjust the box wall thickness.

One suggestion would be to leave off the leadins because some of the members have had problems with them in the past.

I borrowed stainless_fab hitch cover

and attempted to make this for a buddy of mines son. I tried to share the file but it's in an education format from torchmate.
I just wanted to say thanks for the ideas and files! I sent Paul Foxton a message because what my friend really wants now is the lineman lamp.

Thanks. I borrowed the lineman from a hitch plate and i tried the text several different ways and I just couldn't get it to take the same radius to even out. I could have (and still may) just set the letters individually. I wanted to put "Ivey" in the bottom radius, but the cad cam kept putting it in upside down... He said he liked the Ivey in a box anyway, so that gave me all of the encouragement I needed to give up.

Try breaking your circle 2 places (left and right quadrant) before fitting your text to path. This may help to keep your text right side up.

I will for sure try that. Thank you for the suggestion and thanks for the fix. He actually likes the name in the box and still wants it, but I really hate that I couldn't do it, so as soon as I stop typing I'm going to try it.
