Warning during Post

Post by ironshepherdforge »

I started getting this warning recently. Table still cuts, but I'd like to clear it. Can someone provide some guidance?

The pierce height in your tool definition is greater than the rapid clearance height (in Options->job options->material). If you increase the clearance height to be above the pierce height the warning will go away.

Dynatorch changed the way their machines work a few times over the years. It looks like you have an older machine. I have attached a post that should work. Open the attached zip file and save the contents to any convenient folder. Now run SheetCam and go to Options->machine->post processor. Click on the 'import post' button and open the file.

Les,

I run a Langmuir Systems Crossfire Pro. Will that dynatorch file be compatible? I'm a novice. Thank you for the quick reply.

It would be best to contact Langmuir to see what post they recommend.

I ended up doing a firmware flash recommended by them which came with a different post processor. So far things are cutting well. Thanks for the support and Sheetcam...makes life so much less stressful.
