nest two object to share one cut?

Post by lancepr »

If I want to cut two rectangles and share one side(cut) how would I do that in sheet cam?
The first rectangle should cut all 4 sides, then the second cut should just cut 3 sides.
Seems simple enough, but I have been trying to do this for the past hour and can not get anything to work

Make sure you adjust for the kerf on the shared edge on the second part.

I see, I was trying to do it in sheetcam, but it looks like you have to do it in the drawing app.
I was hoping to be able to duplicate say 6 squares and share cuts, but it looks like that is not possible.
