path rules saving

Post by t-tracks »

is there any way when I make a bank of path rules for sheet cam so they stay in the system so I can choose from them any time I want. I spend some time ago creating some basic path rules and when I re opened sheet cam they are gone?

Path rules ride on the toolsets. Meaning if you amke a path rule you need to SAVE the toolset before you close SheetCAM. COnversly if you open and delete a path rule and do not save the toolset it magically appears again and again .

Also, if you save any .job files, the toolsets that were in use -with that .job file- will open next time. If you've changed any settings since you created the file, you'll need to be sure to "load default toolset" before you cut the file. Otherwise, it'll be cutting with your old toolsets/rules (whatever was saved with the .job).
