Is Scananything going to be supported in the linux version?

Post by ovrrdrive »

As above... I just bought a CommandCNC setup and was really looking forward to running scananything on my table. Looking at the docs it doesn't appear to be available. Does anyone know if support is coming for it?

TIA.

Les told me Scananything should be available for CommandCNC the first few weeks of January. So, almost exactly a year after you asked. :)
Bulltear 6x12 w/ Proton Z axis & watertable
CommandCNC/Linux w/ Ohmic & HyT options
Hypertherm Powermax 85 w/ machine torch
Solidworks, Coreldraw X7, Inkscape, Sheetcam

Your reply looks like it was late but believe it or not it took me most of the year to get the table running. lol

That is great news although after learning more about the different software I am going to be using I won't need it as much as I thought. I'm not finding it as big of a deal to trace and convert files as I thought it was going to be.

I'll still probably get it working though. It seems like it will be an easy way to duplicate parts. Thanks for the reply!
