Lead in coming in on wrong side? What's causing this?

I set up a .3 lead in arc but was surprised to find the lead in was on the opposite side of the interior cut.

I'm pretty new to sheetcam and wading my way to progress.

A loooong time ago I had this happem, can't remember exactly what the issue was but I think for me the outer profile was not closed so it didn;t see the inner profiles as inner profiles. Can you post your file?

I get a message telling me I'm not a contributing member and want's to charge me to have more access.

I'll look and see if the outside path was connected or not. I think it should be the hole pattern was highlighted in yellow an the outline in red.
If I understand correctly that is the way it's supposed to be.

I got no indication on the screen in SheetCam as it didn't show the lead in. I thought it was strange and now it's more or a mystery....

Once you have your drawing loaded

Under the mode tab / edit contours did you separate inside vs outside cuts and name them accordingly?

Then once that was established under operations did you set up an inside offset to the corresponding layer name for the inside cuts?

Then again under operation select outside offset assigned to the outside layer name?

Thannks, That fixed it. I had not separated the inner and outer lines and did not use an offset. This was just a test part on a new machine so I didn't worry too much about the particulars.
I also had "show toolpaths" turned off which hid my mistakes. Had I seen the toolpath I would have immediately noticed that something was wonky.

Good Deal..

The no offset & no lead in works great for bend lines or regular line only cuts. Offsets are based on the Kerf widths as outlined in your tool sets.

A great metal / $$ saver feature is once the parts parameters has been set is to click on the Mode / Simulation tab and watch the tool paths run.

Also for holes you want the lead in perpendicular and I make it about a little less than the radius. No lead out on holes and watch the delay at end (make it less than what it is) to minimize the divot. Also slow down 60% speed of book speed. Anything thicker than .250" I add a little bit of overcut.
The simulation is good too. I also use @acourtjesters Pen tool. Total saver of material and in the end a time saver.
