mach3 question / re-start cut from certain position?
i'm new to mach and was wondering. here is the scenario : say your torch has a problem in the middle of a simple cut, say a square. can you bring the torch back to 0000 all axises repair the torch and send it back to a point where it stopped earlier?? probably a stupid question but as i said i'm just starting. thanks for any feed back. Bob

Re: mach3 question
You need to set the line number that you would like to start at.. after that Press the run from here button.
Mach3 will then be ready to start so press the cycle start button. This is how we do it when cutting wood but not sure how the plasma works...

Re: mach3 question
I agree with cnchybrid on what needs to be done. When I have issues and need to start over from a point, I find the line to start from, then hit the Run From Here button and you can see the code will scroll to the line you pick and prepare to move back to the point you need. It works well.
