Torch Stays on

Post by maacmetal »

Sorry this might be a simple question but im having troubles resolving it. Im using fusion360, sheetcam and mach3 on a crossfire table. Just recently my torch has been staying on for a few seconds after the cut has finished and its leaving a scare on my parts. Ive checked the settings in sheet cam and the pause at end of cut is set to 0.0 Seconds. is there a setting in mach3 that i have over looked?

Can you post your gcode?

Not familiar with your system but could it simply be a relay starting to stick closed?

there are some delay settings on the spindle tab under config >> ports and pins >> spindle M3 delay at start and end

the middle lower section where it says spin up and spin down
