Can Mach3 record DRO points as Gcode file

Post by Bigdogbro1 »

Hi All,

I'm not experienced enough with Mach3's wizards, macros and plug-ins to determine if I can get this function, but I still need it.
I have a need to use my CNC plasma table gantry and Mach3 to record multiple manually selected X and Y (Z optional) DRO positions and write them to a .TAP file where they can be played back (single step) in Mach3 from the same zero. Like a digital X/Y copy of those points.

The intended use is to record welded mounting stud positions on the rear of letters and numbers then remove the letters and make drill marks for them on their backing plate.

I want be able to load the recorded file in Mach3 and step thru each of the recorded positions manually and MARK that copied position. Can some experienced Mach3 user please offer a free or low cost solution.

Thanks
