Have to manually put in cut paths

Post by Grinder »

Need help.
I created a design from several pics, when I did the cut path it only did some of it. How can I fix this?

Thanks

Did you try selecting your drawing and then hit the (J) button to join everything, and then try to create the cut path?
If it still wont join you may need to clean up your drawing first. Blow it up (F1) and pan around, looking for small overlaps. Use your cut tool to clean up if found. Also if the drawing is not connected in spots as you are panning around, you can connect stuff together with your (z) tool to add and manipulate curved lines or (L) if you want to add straight lines between larger gaps. I like to use either of these depending on what I am trying to accomplish. After I start drawing my line, I click the letter (e) for end point snap and I stop drawing close to the endpoint and the line typically jumps the gap, then I hit (J) and see what joins, and move along until everything is clean.
Hope this helps..
