can not control carraige position

have a dhc/2----just setting up--have cut few things --had a a few problems all my own doing --but now a error message comes up ---can not control carraige check for jaming or a disconnected wire ----well there is no jaming ,and all is connected--some times i turn off contol box--put it in the top left by hand -then inalize and can make a couple cuts --then up comes the error again , can any one help , thank you ron

Chapter 8 of the video manual is machine troubleshooting and testing. Look in the machine control error topic.
You could swap the motors and see if you are having a motor problem.
If that does not help you, call Plasmacam directly.
