get spark but no movement

so my table ran perfectly before vacation , I came back tried to cut metal an I get everything functioning as usual . Go to set-up my metal , throw my ground on it an press cut on the AVHC and press start an the torch sparks but does not move at all . Stays in position an a few seconds later shuts off cause cant detect the metal . Any suggestions would be highly appreciated it!!!!

The controller is waiting for a signal back from the plasma machine that lets the controller know the plasma has pierced and ready to cut. Check your electrical connections, there may be corrosion on a connection that keeps the signal from making it back to the controller.

My suggestion . . .

Remove consumables . . . clean everything up . . . new consumables . . .
