New to drawing

Hey I an pretty new to this CNC table abs can't fugue out how to draw a part. I tried to trace it abs take a picture to upload and mess with it from there but cabby make it come out right. Any hello would be appreciated.

What software do you have ? Inkscape is free but I can't figure it out. Lots of others use it

First of all we will need to know what software you are using before we can even start to offer help. Just like you, I started out knowing nothing, I ordered a table from Arclight and they suggested Inkscape because it's easy to learn and best of all FREE. There are hundreds of training videos on YOUTUBE about Inkscape many of them produced by Arclight in relation to Plasma cutting. By the time my table arrive (6 weeks) I had already designed many files and was off cutting the minute the power was hooked up. Go to YouTube and watch all the videos you can on Inkscape. If is very easy to learn and you can always move up to bigger and better later after you get going.
