explode

is there a way to do the opposite? I have an exploded object that i would like to be unexploded. I am using the acad clone of draftsight

Use the pedit command. It will ask you select a polyline, select the multiple command and select the lines that you want to join. It should ask you to convert to polylines, select yes. Pick join. It will ask you the fuzz distance, I use the default which is 0.0000.Use this and you should have a polyline as long as the lines are connected.

I do good till i hit the fuzz? I'm not gettin that. here is a screen shot. thanks

Try changing the fuzz distance to .000. I have found that the default distance doesn't work with some files.
