Reducing Nodes

Post by ALLOHIO »

When I reduce the amount of nodes on my work and save it as a DXF file in coreldraw X3 and open it with my cut and command program for the tracker all the nodes I reduced are back giving me a poor cut.
Start with 356 nodes reduce to 78 save re-open to cut and back to 356 am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

The choppy lines could also be because the curve resolution might br set to high in the PLT export. This is found under Advanced tab on the Corel HPGL export. Try experimenting with .1 through .9 or what ever. Compare file size and appearance.
