what thickness
I have a lady who wants me to make her a 6ft x 6ft sign to go on the side of her horse barn. I normally used 14ga but with this sign being larger in size I am worried about the strength if I make out of 14ga. Do ya'll think I could use 14ga or should I go thicker like 12ga or 11ga? Thanks for the input.

Re: what thickness
I have used 14gauge on several large signs before, as long as it has a good backing. My have to use a few more fasteners though.
good luck

Re: what thickness
I typically use 10 gauge (1/8th") for signs.

Re: what thickness
I have used 14ga on a sign that I made but I reinforced the back so it would be stronger. I was thinking about using 1/8th on this one do to the size of it. Thanks for the input.
