Is anyone using a Vicon Fabricator?

Hi all-
I'm looking into a 5x10 Fabricator from the mid 90's. Is anyone familiar with this table as far as the mechanical part goes? Tightness, precisison, ability to cut good 'art' files? I'm trying to determine if it's worth persuing. I assume the controls are pretty dated too...
I'd appreciate any info; a search didn't turn up too much. Jeeprat was having some trouble with one, but hasn't been around in a while.
