File needed for watertable tank.

Post by wishiwastorching »

I'm working on the tank of my watertable and I need to cut out the slat holder thats going to runt he length of the tank on both sides. I thought if someone else has built one lately and had it on file I could just cut it out. I'm looking for approx. 2.5 inch slats at about 1.5 inches appart. It's for my 2x4 table with 4 inch tank.

Here is link to some slat holders I posted a while back. They are for 3/16" slats and three inch centers, I think they are 2-1/2" deep though.

I made them out of 5/16' plate.

Here are my slat supports. I used 1/8" x 2.75" flat bar for my slats, so this is drawn for 3/16" slots. (on 1.5" centers) There are two, the ends of my table and the middle one--the only difference is the middle one has little holes along the bottom to let water through.

My table is 56" wide inside, and 4" deep. You won't need them quite as long as drawn....
