You're already using a top of the line plasma cutter, why not reuse it on the new table? As far as the Harbour Freight plasma cutter, I think I read on here in a past posting that it is a High Frequency start plasma cutter, which causes all sorts of problems with controllers and such.

There are (or used to be) some Harbor Freight plasma cutters with the "soft start", which is preferred for cnc plasma tables. If you are setting up a second table and keeping your Hypertherm with the existing table, then I understand. Otherwise - I agree with WyoGreen - why not keep your Hypertherm?

Here is a 45 amp cutter from Harbor Freight which looks to be compatible for cnc cutting.

The video shows this cutter being used with a small Langmuir table, so I assume it has the "soft start" feature.

Here is another one that is cnc compatible and seems to get good reviews.
