I have never used a plasma cutter.
I am purchasing a primeweld ct520dp and wondering about the quality of the air filter and consumables? Are the worth the money? Should I buy my own filter and a different brand consumables. And recommendations if so.

Re: Primweld plasma filter and consumables quality
This machine gets good reviews on Amazon for general purpose around the home type use - welding, cutting, and such. Since it comes with consumables and a filter, I would try those first. BTW - that's an unusual name you chose for your login - don't know what to think about it.

It does get decent reviews but I have never used one. You will likely want to add some additional filtration in front of the plasma cutters supplied filter to eliminate any humidity/moisture in the air. The filter on it will catch some raw water and particulate but that's about all.
