plasma table questions from a nube

Post by Ram48 »

Hello I am in the process of looking at and for a cnc plasma table. I have experience with a co2 laser as I have owned on for 4 or 5 years now and know a bit of Mach3 from years ago, at least I hope I have retained some knowledge.
As a Hobby user Two that I have come across are in the ballpark both Price and feature wise and I would like to compare them and ask if there are ones in this price / quality point that I have yet to discover.
The two Id like pros and cons on from owners or users are the Crossfire Pro and the STY 4400 (4x4 kit and welded, although the welded would be a stretch of the budget.
Plus any other machines similar to these.
Thanks

Although I don't own one, I have heard lots of good things about the Langmuir Crossfire Pro. I am not familiar with the STY 4400. I personally use a Plasmacam DHC2, but it is quite a bit more money than those you are considering. I think I would probably go with the Langmuir if I were buying a cnc plasma table in that price range.
