Hello,
I am very new here and I really need expert advice. I am not sure where to post this question, if it is not appropriate, please let me know.
my company just bought the CNC Plasma and it come with StarCam soft, I convert dxf to cnc using StarCam, when I Plot the drawing(the drawing is Rect with small circles- radius is 2mm inside rect), I dont see it trace small circle that mean the plasma will not cut the small circles. my question is with is the minimum dia that plasma can cut? or something setting that I did not doing it correct in starcam software?
the cutter is PowerMax 85

Re: Help: CNC Plama - StarCam
It depends on how thick of material and what settings/nozzle that the PM85 is set to. Thin material and low power / small nozzle may work. Quite often, the kerf width of your plasma setup is used by the software to determine if the hole is able to be cut or not.
