I am using ohmic sensing and getting slag between the nozzle and shield, setting off the ohmic sensing trigger. I am constantly having to clean out slag to keep the machine running. How do I stop this?
Hypertherm Powermax65 with fine cut, using manual settings, but slowed down cut speed 10% and cut height to .08"

That happens to me as well, just not as often. I keep a small SS wire brush handy and give the shield and nozzle a few swipes with the brush between sheets. If I'm feeling really motivated, I will give the front end of the toech a spritz of anti spatter spray.

Try increasing your pierce height. Before the arc has pierced the material the molten metal sprays back at the torch and a little more room between the torch and material I found will help reduce this problem.
