I live in the midwest (not quite as humid) and I have a Milton set up similar to the Sharpe. It handles the humidity fine.

I went with this setup but I am in Missouri. I do have very good air with it.

Re: Sharpe 6760 3 stage filter & dryer
I just put in a refrigerated dryer and the air was running through a small dessicant dryer on the table then a motorguard. The Motorguard filter let go and the compressor ran all night earlier this week. There was about 3 litres of water in the compressor tank when I got to work and not a skerrick in the dessicant at the table. Its very hot and humid here right now.
So I am very happy with my purchase as I had major dramas with water last weekend.
