Files problem

Hi! Ive recently down loaded Alibre Design and now all my files have the alibre symbol in front of them where they used to have Corel draw so now they always want to open in Alibre but most of the time I want to open with Corel I'm wondering how to change it?

type in "file associations" in your widows search. It should tell you how to do it.

This might not be relevant since I use a Mac, but if I go to my files area and right click and hold what I want to open, I can choose what program to use. I use Illustrator to trace JPEGS and I can use any of my image programs to open them such as Inkscape, photoshop etc.

that problem is not only Alibre's but most of image type programs in Windows, when you install a new program they feel they have the right to claim all images on your system as theirs. As Lockeyone said it is easy to fix, find an image and right click on it. This brings up a menu scroll down to "properties" then click on change under open with and click the program you want to use, and be sure to have use for all file like this.

I use a program called HiJaak Photags Express it is a IMSI software package. This is the only one I could find on the web at this date.

Thanks! It does look like the latest windows version its rated for is XP. I wonder if it runs on 8 or 10?

I'm using it on win 7 just fine, I hate 10 so the last pc I bought sits idle as it has 10 on it
