Secure smaller metal to table

Post by Specialkfab »

I have some approx 12" scrap discs that I want to cut and not throw away. Problem is I start the cut when the torch contacts the metal to set the cut height the disc bounces. This usually results in moving the metal. Any ideas to secure it to the grid. The grid is a Plasmacam. No horizontals to clamp to. Any ideas entertained. Thanks :geek:

Take a square pce of metal and cut a hole in it big enough for the circles to go into, tack a couple of tabs under it..

Have you seen this thread?
Thank you so much. Makes so much sense. Was going crazy trying to figure it out. I knew it could be done some how.
