cutting open path on sheet cam

in sheetcam i need to cut open lines to put a way for me to bend the thick plate im using
all i get is it goes down drags the torch across what it should had cut runs to end of the path goes up comes down to pierce setting turns on the torch and off mover to the next open than and does the same thing???
any ideas would great

I would try another post processor, When asking for help it is nice if you supply info on the table, what software you are using and other info. Sometime sending part of the G-code like the first 40 lines.

Sounds like a cut rule issue or this used to be a problem in some older MACH and SHeetCam post that only cut the leadin. Also in SHeetCAM make sure you do not have the toolpath reversed with the start point on the opposite end of the line

In SheetCam, Tools, Cutting Rules, make sure there isn't something regarding open paths set up. Does Sheetcam give you the warning, "there are open paths in this drawing, they will not be offset" or something like that? Perhaps you are on an old version and need to update. I cut open paths all the time for design detail with no issues, but I do get that warning.
