Metal Art Visualiser ?

Post by Improvise » Thu Sep 15, 2022 11:17 pm

Can anyone recommend a good metal art visualiser to display metal art .png's to help sell metal art pieces?
I can't seem to find one that displays the shadow correctly or where you can remove the framed shadow.
https://www.ohmyprints.com/index/455/de/WallApp is very easy to use but displays a framed shadow that you cant remove, even for pieces that have no frame. See koi fish image.
Other 2 images for reference for what I am after (not my work).
Doesn't have to be free just one that anyone can recommend for ease of use and looks good.
Thanks.

Give Fusion 360 a try, you can get a free trial and it is great for producing renderings like this.

Another thing you can try if your happy with what your using with the exception of the shadow frame is make your page size much larger so the frame is much larger and you can simple crop the image out of the center of the frame.

For your Koi fish example there is little room if any between the edges of the design and the edges of the frame. If the frame was larger it would be very easy to crop the design out of the center of it.

Curious what you decide to do.

You can use CANVA to place an image on a background but I don't think you can do shadows. www.canva.com

See koi fish image.
If you like the program that you posted except for the frame, you could use the windows "snip tool" to highlight the unwanted frame and delete it.
It is an extra step but may be worth it over another program.

This is exactly what I was after! Thanks Rokcrler for the link and thanks to Bad Dog for the great tutorial.
I haven't been around CNC plasma that long but can see that Bad Dog seems to be a legend and highly respected individual in the game.
Thanks to the other posters for taking the time to reply also.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Thanks Rokcrler for sharing that video. Very interesting! The one thing that bugs me is that in the video his piece just seems to be floating in air - so not really the way it might actually look mounted on a wall for display. But nevertheless his method is just what the OP is looking for to stage his artwork rendering over a realistic background for display purposes. I will study this one for future reference.
